Equilibrium Point(Two lines) calculator |
In Euclidean geometry, the Equilibrium Point or intersection of a line and a line is a point if the two lines are not parallel or not same.
To lines: a1X + b1Y = c1, a2X + b2Y = c2
Equilibrium Point: X=(c2b1 - c1b2)/(a2b1 - a1b2), Y=(a1c2 - a2c1)/(b2a1 - a2b1)
For example, Line 2x + 3y = 4, and 3x + 4y = 5, the intersection of the two lines is x = -1, y = 2.
